Why the fleet exists
Most of the ocean floor has never been measured. What passes for a map is an interpolation between two distant soundings, drawn with confidence it has not earned. We go and look, and we bring back what was actually there.
What the fleet is for
A survey company that claims to do everything is telling you it has never been told no by the ocean.
Multibeam and synthetic aperture survey to full ocean depth, delivered as gridded bathymetry with the raw returns attached. If the grid is wrong you can go back and see why.
Line accuracy
Close approach on pipeline, riser and manifold. Wall thickness, cathodic protection, free span geometry, measured against the as-laid record rather than the design drawing.
Standoff hold
Season length deployment for questions that only exist as a trend. Thermal structure, current shear, plume arrival. Ninety days on buoyancy alone.
On station
The same hull flying the same line months apart, differenced at full resolution. The only honest way to say whether a seabed is moving.
No resampling
Deployment with no surface to return to. Sparse acoustic beacon navigation, hard energy reserves, and a recovery plan argued over before anything enters the water.
Longest under ice
Delivered unprocessed alongside every gridded product. If a feature is in our map, it is in this trace too.

The survey altitude is held at forty-five metres. The line plan starts and does not deviate, whatever the returns start showing.

Deployment windows
Windows are allocated eight to fourteen weeks out. Under-ice work is planned a season ahead, because the recovery hole has to be cut before anything else is decided.
